We have made an ethical commitment at Possum Creek to only have hens that have had no "Debeaking" or “Beak Trimming”. We do this not only from an Ethical standpoint, but also from a health standpoint. With their pointy sharp beaks intact our hen’s can get at all types of bugs, insects, weeds and grasses that most chickens simply can’t get.
